History of L&M

Chris Horton - Owner, President

L & M Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. was founded in February 1977 by William Lewis Horton.  Mr. Horton has worked in the heating and air conditioning field since 1956.  We are a locally owned and operated company operated by Patsy and her son Chris Horton.

Chris is Lewis' oldest son.  He started taking an interest in the heating and air conditioning field before he graduated from high school.  After graduation, Chris attended Bessemer State Technical College pursuing subjects associated with the heating and air conditioning industry.  Chris has a master gas fitter card, and a State Board of Heating & Air Conditioning card.  He is trained in all phases of the HVAC industry.

Patsy Horton - Vice-President/Secretary/Treasurer

Ella Faye (Patsy) Horton has been very involved from the starting of the company.  She is Vice-President/secretary/treasurer and she handles all aspects in the office of L & M Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.

Gail Earle - Service Manager

We also have a highly trained service department.  Gail Earle, Service Manager, has been with us since 1990.  Gail has the experience to handle or solve any problem that you may have.

With having over 50 years of service in the HVAC industry, we feel that we are able to take care of any of your heating and air conditioning needs.
